2019 Fox Hollow Jr Golf Championship Recap

We kicked off the 2019 RecruitLook Junior Golf Tour in Colorado in dramatic fashion. In the Boys 15-18 division, Bo Wardnyski (82-72=154) had a great comeback with an even par final round. His put to win the tournament on the last hole did a 360-degree-lap before ending at the bottom.  Greg Lewis was very consistent with rounds of 78-77=155 to finish 2nd.  Marc Warsinski shot 82-75=157 for 3rd place.

The dramatics weren’t over… the Boys 13-14 Division was back-and-forth all weekend long and it was fitting that we needed extra holes to decide a winner. Liam Wood (88-80=168) won in a sudden-death playoff over Charlie Tucker (84-84=168).

Our Boys 11-12 division was a wire-to-wire finish with Gavin Amella (82-78=160) brining home the victory. Clint Summers finished 2nd with an 86-89=175.  At only 10 years of age, Brayden DeStefano finished in 3rd place 93-89=182.

Rachel Penzenstadloer won the Girls 15-18 Division with 2 very consistent rounds. Rachel fired an 81-78=159 to hold off Kira Petersen. Kira made a nice run on the back nine with 1-over 37 for 2nd Place with scores of 88-82=170.

Remember, we put an emphasis on college recruiting and want to make sure each golfer is getting any help they need. Contact Rick Timm to talk about your college recruiting game plan. Our goal of finding scholarships for the kids has been remarkable. You can see where some of our golfers have committed here.
