THE RECRUITLOOK JUNIOR GOLF TOUR EVENT RECAP :
Meadow Hills JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Our Fifth event of the Inaugural season for Denver’s RLJGT started with very sunny & warm conditions, 96 degrees, at one of the most beautiful courses in Aurora, CO. The second day was quite a different scenario with a 30-degree temperature change,
overcast and light rain through most of the day. Course conditions were in mint
condition with plush fairways and fast greens.
For the Boys 15-18 division we had a first-time winner with a victory of 15 shots…Bo
Wardynski carded consistent rounds of 73-73/147. In second place was Jeffrey Nelson II with scores of 84-78/162 and completing the Division in third place was Andrew Merz carding 81-82/163.
In the Boys 11-12 division, we have a Three-Time winner, Matai Naqica, with a great run of 79-74/153 total. In second place was Liam Wood carding 82-76/158 and completing the division in third place was Roland Thornton scoring 85-90/175. Can Matai stay hot or will someone beat him out for first?
The Girls 15-18 division had a wire-to-wire winner, Rachel Penzenstadler with scores of 76-80/156. In second place was 2-time winner Allie Nocera scoring 87-85/172 and completing the division was Kira Petersen carding 86-93/179.
For our final division we had our Boys 9-10 which ended up being the closest match
with Andre Dumonteil firing a 38-38/76 for his second win on our Tour. In a close
second place, Clint Summers II carded a 38-41/79 and with all players finishing the last hole in pouring rain, Brayden DeStefano scored 40-46/86 and secured third place.
