A Message From RLJGT Tour Director, Tommy Canale

We’re excited to bring the 2 best junior golf tours in the area together to create the Best of the City Series. We feel both tours offer unique events that benefit the junior golf community, and working together shows that we both share the common goal of helping the kids and growing the sport.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are Points Tracked?

The Best of the City Series will have its own point system that we will track through SNJGA’s system. The points that you earn at a RLJGT event count towards your RLJGT points AND your Best of the City Series points. The points that you earn at a SNJGA event count towards your SNJGA points AND your Best of the City Series points.

If you only play RLJGT or only play SNJGA events, we get it, that is fine; however, your points only count toward the Best of the City Series points and the hosting tour for the event.

For example, Jake only plays SNJGA events but plays in the Best of the City Series’ RLJGT hosted event. The points he earns do not count towards any of his Player of the Year standings on the SNJGA tour.

What is the Best of the City Series point system?

POINTS STRUCTURE

The Best of the City Series will have its own mini points race for all players. At the end of the series, a winner from each division will be crowned the Best of the City Champion. The two SNJGA events and two RecruitLook events will still count points towards their Player of the Year points race, respectively.

Pricing and Membership Fees

All membership fees still apply to the respective tour. If you plan on playing every event or just one event, the membership fee still applies.

Pricing for the Best of the City Series is competitively positioned to offer you the possible rates. We are not increasing any of our pricing for these events. Each tour will offer their own rates.

Who is running the Events?

SNJGA and RLJGT will each host and operate their designated Best of the City Series events. You’ll see some crossover of staff and branding; however, you’ll be following the playing formats and processes set forth by each tour when at their event.

How do we signup?

You can click the links above on the schedule. We don’t have a separate Best of the City Series website or signup process. Think of this as a mini-tour within 2 bigger tours. When SNJGA is the hosting tour, you’ll register on their website. When RLJGT is the hosting tour, you’ll register on their website.
