Las Vegas Championship Event Recap
The RecruitLook Junior Golf Tour (RLJGT) saw golfers from Nevada, Montana, Kentucky, and California compete in the second event of the 2016 season. Four sub par rounds were turned in, while one golfer was flirting with a 62! RecruitLook’s Ethan Bozner was absolutely on fire — setting RLJGT records with a low round of 64 on day two and an overall total of 133! Bozner has now taken 2nd and 1st in the first two events on the 2016 tour and leads the Boys 15-18 point race.

2017 RecruitLook prospect, Austen Ancell, posted 70-72=142 for a two under tournament total, and shot one of the four sub par rounds in the event. 2017 RecruitLook Prospect Jalen Hodges took third with two rounds of even par 72.
Michael Salerno took home first place in the 13-14 boys shooting 70 (-2) on day one followed by 75 for a 36-hole total of 145. Salerno was dominant in his first RLJGT appearance, winning his age division by 11 strokes! Kameron Kelsey took second by a card playoff over Aiden Goldstein. Both posted 156 two day totals. Goldstein shot 79-77 and Kelsey 80-76.

Danielle Oberlander won the Girls 15-18 with respectable rounds of 79-76 for a four stroke victory over 14 year old Rose Beral who played up a division and posted 81-78=159. Third place was Rebecca Oertel with 82-79=161. Carolyn Lemon won 13-14 Girls with 95-, while Logan Allen won the Girls 11-12 with scores of 87-90.
Yana Wilson captured her second straight RecruitLook Junior Golf Title winning the Girls 9-10 posting 90-83=173. Taking second place was Dakota Tallent.
Overall the event was a success and everyone was glad to be part of the Recruitlook Junior Golf Tour. All tournament results will be sent to RecruitLook.com’s database of over 1,000 college golf coaches. The overall mission of the RLJGT is to help golfers get more college recruiting exposure and scholarship opportunities. Several RecruitLook golfers in 2016 have already committed to continue their golfing career at the collegiate level. You could be next!
Register for the next event March 23-24, 2016 at the Aliante Golf Course. The North Las Vegas Junior Championship will be the third stop on a 15-event tour.
